For years it was called “Sleeping Beauty”, but for a few years ago it has been reactivated culturally and visiting it is a trip through the senses that every lover of gastronomy and wine should not miss. In addition, its historic center, recognized by UNESCO in 2007, is a clear example of the coexistence of tradition and modernity.

Welcome at the airport of Bordeaux – Merignac. After making the transfers to the city, you will have time to discover the city on your own, always following the advice of our local experts or the possibility of resting until dinner, which will take place at Le Quatrieme Mur, property of the chef Philippe Etchebest, awarded with a Michelin star.
A spectacular start for a trip that you can not easily forget!
We will start the day visiting “La cité du Vin”, opened in 2016 and whose aim is to make the visitor understand the key role that wine has had throughout all civilizations. In his cellar there are more than 800 wine references from all over the world.
After leaving impregnated with knowledge, the visit will continue to Les Halles de Bacalan, one of the most impressive local markets in the region where we can discover first hand the famous flavors of Aquitaine, you will relive the French culture with every bite!
After this tasty appetizer, we will eat at the Brasserie Le Familia, in the market itself.
Once we finish, we will go to discover the city by the hand of a local guide who will show us the unforgettable corners of this wonderful city, from the old clock tower through the “Miroir d’eau”, one of the most popular tourist attractions and may be the prettiest one.
We will close the day having dinner in one of the best places, the brasserie that the famous chef Gordon Ramsay owns, awarded with two Michelin stars.
We will head for Saint-Émilion, a medieval village of the 7th century, listed in 1999 by the Unesco. Its historic center is intact, which makes your visit make us travel to the past and enjoy the “bon vivant” French. Its corners, churches and wineries make it a unique destination.
Our first stop will be at Château La Dominique, one of the most important wineries of all those that houses the municipality, where traditional and contemporary art embrace each other. After the visit to the facilities we can make a tasting of 3 of their best wines by matching a selection of local products.
Our lunch will take place in La Terrasse Rouge, located close to the vineyards, best views are guaranteed!
After this visit we will go to our hotel, chosen to have a pleasant stay and rest assured: The Relais Château Hostellerie de Plaisance, in the heart of the city.
From this point we will make a guided tour of this picturesque highlight.
After our route, we will have time to dine at your choice.
Our day will start at Château Franc Mayne, one of the largest wineries and with more than 7 hectares of vineyards. The curiosity of this winery resides in the disposition of its barrels.
After the visit, we will have free time until dinner to wander around its streets or purchase local products. To close this day, we will have dinner together at La table de la Plaisance.
After leaving Saint-Émilion, we will head towards Médoc, another region of great importance in the wine industry. On our arrival we will go to Château Margaux to visit the facilities that produce one of the best wines in the world.
After lunch at La Table du Lavoir in the city of Martillac, you will have time to enjoy the spa area and treatments, all oriented to wine therapy. From Marly Olé we recommend this experience since the properties of the grape are endless.
If you prefer other types of activities, you can make walking tours of the city or go comfortably by bicycle.
After a fun and relaxing day, we will be carried away by the impressive gastronomic offer of La Grand ‘Vigne, condecorated with two Michelin stars.
We will destine our morning at Château Smith Haut-Lafitte, the main producer of one of the most exclusive wines of this region. After a visit to the vineyards, we will return have lunch at La Table du Lavoir.
During the afternoon we suggest a day of rest in the spa area of the hotel or an afternoon of walking and shopping in the area.
To end the day, we will have dinner at La Grand ‘Vigne.
After a magical week, we will return to the Bordeaux airport to finish this pleasant experience.
