In ancient times this coastal region was believed to have been the end of the Earth, and it owes its name to this fact as Finisterre literally means “Land’s end”. Its stunning landscapes attract visitors from all over the world as well as Pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago who finish their pilgrimage at the coast’s famous lighthouse.
You will be accompanied by local guides who will be happy to share all their knowledge about the history and traditions that make this coast such a unique place.
We meet at your hotel in Santiago and head for the coast towards Muros, one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Spain. Before visiting Muros, we will make a short but truly marvelous stop at the majestic mountain of Alto de Paxareiras, from where we can enjoy a stunning view of the coast, the peninsula of Finisterre and the mountain known as the “Olympus of the Celts” Monte Pindo.
After the visit in Muros, we will continue all along the coast until we reach Ézaro, the only waterfall in Europe that flows directly into the sea. We will then enjoy a wonderful lunch before our last stop at the famous Finisterre lighthouse where Pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago end their journey.
We will then return to Santiago and our private vehicle will drop you off directly at your hotel.
